Our House System
Here at Kymbrook Primary School we have 3 Houses, they are: Jeffries, Stocker and Greenwood. Named after veterans who had served at RAF Little Staughton during WWII as part of the Pathfinders Squadron. For many years, a group of them had an annual reunion and would always start off their weekend with a visit to Kymbrook for a special assembly. Our houses are named Jeffries (after Ron Jeffries), Stocker (after Ted Stocker- incidentally the only flight engineer to be awarded the DSO during the war) and Greenwood (after Joan Greenwood)
Children can earn house points in school for showing the school values in many different ways. We encourage healthy competition with House Winners weekly and termly overall winners, who will be granted a special privilege for their hard work.
Keep a look-out on the website's "Latest News" for the winners!
House Captains are elected in Year 6 and serve as role models for the children in their House. They play an active role in championing their House teams in school events and sports competitions. They count up and announce the House Points at the end of the week so they weekly winners can be announced in the Friday Celebrations Assembly. House Captains are currently working with staff, along with Head Boy & Head Girl, to plan reward events for winning teams.
This year's House Captains are:
Jeffries - Ruby and Aniah
Stocker - Cal and Freddie
Greenwood - Keira and James
