We have started a new topic, which is called 'Is There a Solution to Pollution?'

As part of this, we are doing a year-long project called Zero Carbon Schools and we are already learning so much about climate change.

In maths, we have been learning about fractions, especially this week addition and subtraction of fractions. We are finding some of the lessons and questions easy and some of them difficult. But we are persevering!

In English, we have been working on a poem called The Dreadful Menace. This was used as the BBC trailer for the 2014 Olympics. We have been working on figurative language and punctuation in both poetry and prose writing. 

In French, we were excited and surprised to get a new real French pen pal!
