What a Wet Week!

This week has been very wet, and I am sure you may have been affected by the weather in one way or another.

Wet weather always brings some challenges for school staff, such as wet playtimes...However, this week has been extra wet! We have been lucky at Kymbrook that we have been able to stay open, as many other local schools have had to shut due to flooding.

One member of staff who finds the rain adds an extra exciting dimension to the day is our Forest School Ranger, Nina Sansom. She says that this week the rain has also boosted children's den-building skills, as they have had to ensure their dens are waterproof. The children have really enjoyed this aspect of having to keep every last drop of rain out of their dens.

Let's hope that the flooding in Bedford and the surrounding areas starts to subside and that conditions/travelling starts to improve quickly for everyone.

Have a great weekend!
